Krista Kae Parino
Call me Krista Kae or KK. I am a first-generation Filipino-American Cultural Studies Ph.D. student. I received my BA in Ethnic Studies with a minor in Education from the University of California, Riverside. Later, I received my MA in Humanities with an emphasis in Cultural Studies from Mount Saint Mary’s University. My research interests consist of Filipino-American identity, experiences, and history.
My role as your Social Media & Communications Strategist is to relay resources and information to enhance your CGU experience. I aim to create an engaging online community as an extension of the on-campus experience. I joined GSC to be more involved in our student community and help others navigate through their grad school journey.
